Bachelor’s Degree in a Few Steps
- Make sure that according to your study program you are enrolled in all required courses and that all grades have been entered into USOS.
- At the beginning of June, send the following information from your student email to the Office of Student Affairs (BOS) at the Faculty of Chemistry:
- the title of your thesis in the language it was prepared (original language),
- the full name of your Supervisor,
- the full name of your Reviewer.
- Notify the Office of Student Affairs at the Faculty of Chemistry, either by phone (+48 61 829 15 64) or by email (wchem@amu.edu.pl), once you have completed all course requirements, so that the final stage of your studies can be processed.
- Check the correctness of your thesis title in APD (Archive of Diploma Theses system) and verify if your APD account has been activated and you can proceed with step 6. If APD is not yet active, please wait patiently.
- On the Faculty website, you will find information regarding the date, place, and the Examination Committee composition for the diploma exam for your specific degree program or specialization.
- Complete your data in APD, remembering to:
- enter the thesis title in Polish,
- enter keywords in Polish and English,
- upload the abstract in Polish and English,
- upload the thesis file (PDF format; make sure the file name contains no Polish special characters),
- read and approve the declaration of authorship in APD.
- The diploma exam will be conducted in person at the Faculty of Chemistry. An individual MS TEAMS channel will also be created for you. You will gain access to it after completing the academic year and finalizing all APD-related actions. No later than two days before the exam, upload the following documents to your MS TEAMS channel:
- a presentation summarizing the results of your Bachelor's thesis,
- the thesis file from the APD system,
- the plagiarism check report from the JSA system,
- the Supervisor’s and Reviewer’s evaluations.
- On the scheduled exam date, appear in person and impress the Examination Committee with your knowledge (topics for the Bachelor’s exam).
Soon after, you will see in USOS information about when your diploma will be ready for collection.
