Key words: heterogeneous catalysis, solid state chemistry, synthesis and characterisation of micro- and mesoporous catalysts , catalysis on mono-and bimetallic systems (containing e.g. Au, Ag, Pt) supported on metal oxides, zeolites and mesoporous sieves, catalytic transformationof organic compounds(e.g. oxidation of glucose, glycerol, methanol).
